This initial evaluation is for children who have not yet been formally evaluated for speech or language concerns, including early intervention, preschool-aged children, and families seeking an initial diagnostic assessment.
We complete a comprehensive evaluation of your child’s speech and language skills, which may include standardized assessments, play-based observation, caregiver interview, and informal measures depending on your child’s age and needs.
Following the evaluation, you will receive a clear summary of findings along with individualized recommendations. If therapy is recommended based on findings, we will outline next steps and develop a plan to support your child’s communication development.
*Please note: Initial evaluations are priced higher than ongoing therapy sessions due to the comprehensive nature of the assessment process, which includes direct standardized and/or play-based assessment, extensive review, analysis and interpretation of assessment data, scoring and report writing, and the development of individualized treatment recommendations and planning. Initial evaluations are conducted as a one-time service.
